Legal basis
Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council of October 23, 2019 on the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law has been applicable since December 17, 2021. Since July 2, 2023, it has been supplemented by the Act for Better Protection of Whistleblowers (Whistleblower Protection Act - HinSchG).
