Visit from FabLab Karlsruhe at Precitec
Beginning of July, our team used the newly installed laser cutting machine to support the non-profit association FabLab Karlsruhe with a project idea, demonstrating by the way high-performance laser cutting. This resulted in a welding table made of 10 mm solid steel, which can now be used in Karlsruhe. During the meeting in Gaggenau, all individual parts of the table were cut on the cutting system with the ProCutter 2.0 laser cutting head and then welded together by the Fablab in Karlsruhe.
The FabLab association has creative and innovative members from all levels of the working world, working together to implement their own ideas using modern production techniques such as 3D printers, laser cutting systems or CNC milling machines.
